I'm writing to thank you for your excellent instruction during my visit to your fishing school on Monday afternoon.  Your approach to instruction is quite special - I was made to feel relaxed during the three hour session and my speycasting has been significantly improved.  Although the wind was blowing strongly upstream, I was still able to improve my Single Spey off both shoulders.  I return to the Tweed in Autumn and would like to employ your services for a further few hours.  In the meantime, best wishes

Thanks for my lesson yesterday.  I'm away to fish in Russia next month and feel confident that I'll be able to cope with the fast sinking lines and heavy flies they tell me I have to use.  I'll let you know how I get on. I just wanted to say thank you again for a very enjoyable and instructive three days with you earlier this week. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and my casting improved form barely picking up a double handed fly rod before to feeling that i could make a go of actually fishing without embarrassing myself to much.  I very much appreciated your teaching style which is highly informative without being too mind blowing. So once again a big thank you for my insight into salmon fishing....and to actually catch a salmon too was more than i hoped for. 

The salmon gods were certainly smiling on me on Wednesday.

Thank you very much indeed for an excellent day's fishing with you on the River Teviot. I'm delighted with the marked improvements not only in my Speycasting, but my understanding of how best to fish a certain pool and general river craft. As if the day could not get any better, to catch a lovely 8lb salmon was truly magical. The reason I booked instruction with you was due to your excellent reputation as a teacher and I was certainly not disappointed.
